HI JD - I enlarged the pictures - it looks as though the land is flooded for irrigation there. These men have quite the job in the heat! (Luckily near water.)I wish I could have photographed the eclipse you spoke of in a former post. Have a good day.

Nice pics of real life happenings.In India we still practice primitive methods of Irrigation prevalent during vedic/pre vedic times. Orissa normally alternates between drought & floods.Probably these pics were taken during normal season.Hard work though.Hope they had a good and plentiful harvest. Regards Ram
